Is that whirling sound I guess you can call it in the engine normal on these cars I have a 2006 with the same sound in the engine. And mine has the CVT transmission the car has 118k miles should I have the fluid changed a ford dealer wants almost $600 to change the fluid. And they wanna flush it is that a good idea to flush iv heard flushing is not good.

Why did you do this test? Did you replace the engine or transmission?

No no no it is not a lifetime fluid. It NEEDS to be changed every 60k. And you need to use the correct fluid directly from ford not a aftermarket equivalent.
