Say guys? Before we get to my 7th anniversary tomorrow, I want to ask one final question first. So this year marks the 30th Anniversary of Hey Arnold which as some of more may know is my second favorite Nicktoon right behind SpongeBob. And I’ve been thinking of doing a top 10 favorite Hey Arnold episodes video for the anniversary just like how I made a top 10 favorite episodes video for my third favorite Nicktoon, My Life as a Teenage Robot a few years ago and how I plan to do my series of top 10 favorite episodes videos for SpongeBob at some point.
I think that could be cool especially cause I don’t know what my favorite episode of Hey Arnold is. I could just say any legend episode like Stoop Kid or Pigeon Man or Big Cesar but I don’t exactly know what my favorite Hey Arnold episode is so it would give me an excuse to watch through the show and find out like say over the summer. Here we are with another WWE PLE, this time Backlash 2026. And we’re hot off the latest WWE controversy with TKO budget cuts. No wonder TKO stands for Total Knockout, but we’re not here to talk about that, we have to talk about the actual shows. So regarding this card, maybe not the most exciting one out there even by today’s standards. Only two titles on the line only one being a main event title. But we got some matches that could hold some leverage like Seth vs Bron which could’ve happened at WrestleMania, Roman and Jacob which was probably bound to happen and we got Danhausen who many say is carrying the company on the card so there’s all that. But anyway on with the predictions:
• Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker (with Paul Heyman)- Singles match: A match that could’ve and should’ve happened at Mania but due to certain circumstances it didn’t but thankfully it didn’t take until SummerSlam for the match to take place. As for who will win this match? It could go either way, and I can see this spawning into multiple matches between the two, as if that’s the case I see Bron winning the match and Seth going on a mission to get back at The Vision and get a rematch against Bron in the future. So I’ll go with Bron Breakker for the win.
• Trick Williams (c) (with Lil Yachty) vs. Sami Zayn- Singles match for the WWE United States Championship: I'm picking Trick to retain the belt. I’m still a little surprised Trick won the belt at Mania, I figured once the double turn between Sami & Trick came into full fruition, that’s when Trick would win the belt. Well as long as he has the belt now I say keep it on him. Trick Williams is over so let’s give him a great run with the US title.
• Iyo Sky vs. Asuka- Singles match: It’s hard to say what will happen with this match especially with the lack of Kairi Sane and I don’t think we’ll see an R-Truth like return for her during this match. But I’ll go ahead and say Iyo Sky will win to end off this feud and possibly go back to World Championship picture. Not sure where Asuka will go afterwards but either way I’m picking Iyo for the win.
• Danhausen and TBA vs. The Miz and Kit Wilson- Tag team match: Most of the time these type of tag matches are set up for the babyface team to win so I can only imagine Danhausen’s team winning if there will be a tag partner for him. As for so that tag partner could be, I can’t think of who that could be other than a Danhausen look alike played by whoever the fudge.
Kit Wilson did post a tweet talking about how Elton Prince may never wrestle again. I’m honestly not sure if that’s legit so we wouldn’t set ourselves up for disappointment or if it was done to keep us surprised cause I would’ve said Kit Wilson as a left field pick but maybe Kit doesn’t want us to assume that Elton is returning in this match to avoid disappointment. Either way I’m picking Danhausen’s team to win.
• Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu- Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship: I got Roman to retain the title without a doubt. I imagine this match was meant to happen at some point but I’m shocked it’s happening this soon. Either way I don’t see Roman losing the belt already and I don’t see Jacob winning the big belt yet. That’s all I have to say regarding the match. Roman for the win.

So as many of you are probably aware of by now we had a Star Fox Direct yesterday which came out of nowhere. So I might as well state my opinion on this announcement.
So from what I understand this upcoming Star Fox game is a retelling of Star Fox 64. I haven’t seen many reactions to this announcement but I can imagine a lot of people are unhappy with this as this isn’t a new Star Fox game and especially as we’ve had rereleases of Star Fox 64 in the past such as Star Fox 64 3D on 3DS and a reimagining of the game in Star Fox Zero on Wii U and here we have another retelling of the game.
Knowing Nintendo fans these days they would probably complain about an actual new game anyway but I could understand why some people would be disappointed as this isn’t an actual new Star Fox game and how this seems like a similar situation with The Last of Us 1. If I recall there were a few rereleases of the game and it caused a stir for fans but feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.
Now for me as someone with no attachment to Star Fox 64 having never played the game or the Star Fox franchise as a whole and using my powers as the anti Internet user by looking at the positives, I like to think of this as a way to reintroduce Star Fox to the newer generation after bringing the franchise back from the dead curtesy of Fox’s appearance in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
I also think that because Star Fox Zero wasn’t well received by fans, this release could be used as a second chance to reboot the Star Fox series as a whole. Like this release reminds me of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Trilogy in which they retell the story of the original game and add new content to make it more fresh and new such as James McCloud’s backstory and the additional cutscenes and what not. And we got a new online battle mode as well which seems interesting. And it’s also possible that this game could be a blueprint for a future new Star Fox game in a few years if this sells well enough. So there’s that to take into account as well.
Now I should also address the elephant the room and talk about the character designs. I thought they were pretty off putting at first but I imagine much like with Donkey Kong’s redesign they’ll grow on you and to be fair they sort of resemble the designs of the characters on the original box art for the first game.
So those are my overall thoughts on this release. This might definitely be an either you love it or your hate it release but in general I’m glad Nintendo is bringing back the Star Fox franchise. Say what you will about The Super Mario Galaxy Movie but it pretty much saved Star Fox in a way so give it credit for that at the very least. Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments about this Star Fox game and tell me how wrong I am for this take. I’ll understand cause even if I was allowed to have opinions on the Internet, I’m not that familiar with Star Fox meaning my knowledge on it is very limited so I probably shouldn’t be talking about this franchise at all.
As for if I get this game, I might sometime down the line. I would still get the original Star Fox 64 on N64 at some point but perhaps for my first Star Fox game I’ll try this out and see if I can get into Star Fox as a whole.
