It’s obvious why Hernandez got the leash he did. On the field there weren’t many TE’s that had the ability Hernandez had. He really was a do it all TE, Bill likely thought he was a perfect fit for the double TE schemes he wanted to run.

As a native of Bristol, CT. I can tell you that NO ONE from Aaron's hometown of Bristol was the least bit surprised when all this happened. His father was also involved in the murder of Plainville police officer Robert Holcomb in 1977 and Aaron and his brother had reputations for violent behaviour LONG before he attended UCONN, the University of Florida or got drafted by the Patriots. We were all in complete disbelief Aaron even got drafted, tbh but the rest is history as they say.

I know one of Aron’s teachers from Connecticut she says he was one of the nicest sweetest kids she had ever met. She was very disappointed in the way he turned out. He was a smart kid.
