So... my second Wednesday without posting a new song. Have I abandoned this channel? Not by a long shot. My idea when starting this was to post a video of new material once a week and I kept that up for a full year. It was fun and it gave me a sense of completion as; up until I started posting these, my songs were never 'finished'... always works in progress. I now have a substantial body of work here on Youtube... however, there was a downside that I didn't anticipate. I had this rigid (self imposed) schedule to keep and as a result, I was posting songs that were not really my best work, simply because I had footage for them. Then the footage started to thin out and I had to rely on AI... and then the new material started to run out and I started posting older material. Upon reflection, this defeated the original intent of what I was looking to do.
So... I will be posting new content but only when I feel comfortable with the material. No schedules or guidelines... just the songs I like the best with videos that are meaningful to me. Thank you to my subscribers (all 6 of you)! I hope to 'see' you again soon. Here's an oldie for you... just because.
