Roys Rocks Dont panic everyone! I won't be uploading a video this weekend, but it is only because I have a few big things going on and I have to travel. Don't worry, I will be back the following week. Stay safe and keep carving those opals! (4 days ago)

Roys Rocks Hey Everyone, For anyone interested in my actual day job as a Lab Manager (and seeing my ugly face pop up on camera) we've achieved a pretty cool award for one of the groups leaders. (6 months ago)

I have bought excellent dremel cutting discs from Temu. Some are razor blade thickness so you dont lose much stone.

You should try a die grinder for this style of cutting! A bigger heavier (more stable) tool with using 3" blades. Also fwiw, I've gone through MANY dremels... they never last me (in automotive/general purpose). The Milwaukee die grinders are so much better quality.
