For a child of the 80s from Germany, it is strange to hear that Nena is supposed to be a one-hit wonder. She was one of the figureheads of the “Neue Deutsche Welle” (New German Wave) in Germany in the 80s and had countless hits in the charts.

At least half of these are on regular rotation on most '80s channels. Not forgotten at all.

Greg Kihn Band also had “The Breakup Song.” The Motels also had “Only the Lonely.” Both charted on the Billboard 100, so two hits apiece

YES!!!!! MTV was always on when Mom and Dad were gone or went to bed. The 80s were and are the absolute most RAD time in history.

Gen X'er and this is music I still listen to and love, among many other artists who weren't one hit wonders from the 80's.

The Motels had a major hit with "Only The Lonely" too. "Suddenly Last Summer," was not their only hit.
