There's a handful of caves in Nelson in New Zealand, that has the Nelson Cave Spider, which is as big as these but a terrestrial spider. It's so large because it's main prey is the heaviest insect in the world, The Giant Cave Weta.

This is crazy I never know spiders lived in the oceans I thought they didn't like salt

Still the certain spiders on land can be extremely deadly like their comrads in the ocean for example what about that brown recluse spider that can make their victims rot from the insides before consuming them, thats pretty much scary just as much as having a visitor consuming their victim from the inside.

Not a true spider at all... Nor crab.

No, "sea spiders" are not actually real spiders. While they look very similar and share a distant common ancestor, they belong to an entirely different class of animals called Pycnogonida. Real land spiders belong to the class Arachnida.

SEA SPIDERS ARE NOT SPIDERS. STOP USING THE WORD 'SPIDER' AS AN UMBRELLA TERM TOWARDS AN ANIMAL THAT IS NOT A SPIDER.
