This is more than a song. It’s a masterpiece that transcends space and time, filled with love, regret, and the deepest kind of connection. Probably one of the most heartfelt ballads ever written by the legendary Leon Russell.

71 and just taking up the piano. This is my challenge. The lead in is mesmerizing; been working at it since October. I’m at 80%. The opening chords I have down almost pat, except for the GC#EG. My fingers are fighting me tooth and nail there. But, no way I’m giving up. Most exquisite lyric: “but, if my words don’t come together, listen to the melody, cuz my love’s in there hiding”.
