C est vraiment touchant de voir un jeune Américain, qui plus est, découvrir et s’émouvoir sur un morceau qui fait tellement partie de ma culture que je n’avais presque plus conscience d’à quel point il était beau ! Merci à toi !

Balavoine .... il nous manque tellement, ce mec avait tout .. rébellion, cœur immense , voix unique ... j avais 10 ans lors de sa mort qui m a marquée..

Je suis si content que ce jeune américain apprécie Balavoine. Je ressens toujours beaucoup d'emotions quand j'écoute ses chansons. Je l'adore !

Dude, the lirics. Read the lirics. This song is talking about depression, how to deal with it, and the despair of sending a bottle in the sea and getting rejected. The chorus says how even if your message is sent for nothing, it remains a proof that you think you matter and exist.

Non seulement la performance vocale, mais également le sens profond des textes engagés font de Daniel Balavoine l'une des figures légendaire de la chanson française. Il a eu une mort épouvantable qui a laissé toute une nation endeuillée.

I was 9 in 1984, and i'm still crying each time i hear this song ... He was more that a singer, a star, he was an artist like there's no more, he was engaged, full of humanity, his voice was one of a kind, covering almost 3 octaves ! Poetry in his lyrics were so deep, so beautiful. In 1978 he sang "SOS d'un Terrien en détresse" and his voice and skills were so impressive for the time, you have to see it !

We never forgot Daniel Balavoine. He is still part of our culture today.

Daniel was out of this world. Unfortunately he died in 86 at the age of 33 in an helicopter crash in the desert during the "Paris-Dakar race"... He was there for a humanitarian cause, Install water pumps in the desert..... Daniel Balavoine is also the first singer to have sung "SOS d'un terrien en détresse" covered by Dimash.

I am Brazilian and I completely fell in love with the voice and music of this great French singer, he is simply my favorite singer, I identify a lot with what he writes, he is the best, great reaction is how I always get goosebumps when listen to this work of art!!️
