would you guys enjoy an achievement hunt for hollow knight? it's been around for a long time, and many have played it, and i wouldn't be the first to 100% it. but i think the way i did my ninesols video could fit this game just as well despite the progression being less linear, and the narrative being more open ended. lmk

do you want to be even sadder about shanhai 9000!!!! there’s a canon backstory comic that shows you the solarian it was looking for was a kid who was abandoned by her mother so that she could get a spot on new kunlun (the kid is blind, n new kunlun wasn’t letting in disabled solarians). shanhai speaks in a synthesized version of the mom’s voice so the kid, not being able to see who’s talking to her, thinks she’s with her mom n only realizes she was betrayed when she ends up running into said mom at the new kunlun docks n getting pushed off a cliff by her. we know shanhai gets taken by the new kunlun maintenance to be scrapped after this, n presumably at this point eigong finds the kid where she fell n steals her to experiment on. horrible times all around
