Description
Welcome to Last Shelter Standing.

This channel brings you immersive frontier survival stories set in the American West during the 1800s. Through harsh winters, isolated cabins, and relentless storms, we explore the strength, ingenuity, and quiet resilience of settlers fighting to survive.

Each story is completely original and created exclusively for this channel. The characters, events, and locations are fictional, inspired by the spirit of pioneer life in the Dakota Territory and the Old West.

If you’re drawn to winter survival, frontier cabin life, homesteading struggles, and powerful storytelling with emotional payoff, you’ve found your refuge.

In a world buried by snow and silence… only the last shelter remains standing.

In January 1977 I was on holiday on the Portuguese Island of Madeira and came across a beautiful A framed house built entirely of straw.

Aussie here. What a great story. Adaptation and innovation as well as creative thinking combined to make a virtually indestructible home.

It’s a good thing we don’t trust the background pictures to help tell the story.

Jolly-good story, very well presented. Sub-zero temperatures can happen to anybody at any time (very grim). Don't be a victim. Cheers!
