Olerud had the best sportsmanship of any player I’ve seen play. Never showed negative emotions or anger towards players or umpires.

Surprised he is not wearing his batting helmet for this interview. Olerud was and still is a baseball legend!!!!! His .473 OBP is still the single-season record for a Toronto Blue Jay, and chances are that won't ever be broken.

Part of one of the best hitting trios ever in baseball history. John Olerud, Roberto Alomar, and Paul Molitor were absolutely brilliant.

John Olerud had one of the best swings I have ever seen in baseball. So clean and so sweet.

Olerud's den looks like classic European rich dude. Lord John it is!

I was 18 when they won it in 92. Now 50, I feel the same spirit.

One of my favorite players on the Blue Jays growing up!

Great to see John again. Owner of one of the sweetest swings in baseball. ️

When they mention Ohtani I’m surprised the host didn’t bring up that the collegiate award for the best two-way player is named after Olerud because he was a successful pitcher and hitter in college.

What a player. Key member of that 1992 & '93 team.

John Olerud 1990 Upper Deck rookie card is legendary

I still have the ball that he signed for 11 y.o. me after batting practice before a game in 93.

Olerud my favourite player of all time. Also the most private man of all time. I really hope to see you in Toronto this October
