I like Sanheim but he's on an expiring contract making 4.675M. The Oilers have too many pieces to deal with right now to get Sanheim. There has to be certainty with Evander Kane, Duncan Keith, Mike Smith, Jesse Puljujarvi, Kailer Yamamoto, and Ryan McLeod before exploring a trade for Sanheim. But I do agree that they need to move on from Tyson Barrie's contract and provide an upgrade on defence.

Hymen and goggle are the absolute best trades oilers have ever made. Jessa P most likely gone as he’s todays Jordan everke. I’m personally disappointed in his performance since Kane arrived. Can trade Barrie but would be happy to keep him. Kulak will stay ceci will stay. I think Oilers will make minor changes overall and goal will be the focus. Kieth is a big part as his leadership is I sir mountable

Kane is an Oiler he’ll be here next season. Evander is here to win a cup. Who GAF of his past. He found his team. He doesn’t play that well if his heart isn’t in it. I would be very upset if Kane chose money over heart. I believe Kane will take what the oilers offer and it will be generous. Current rumour is smith will be traded or bought out and we are bringing in Gibson and skinner. From horses mouth Twitter

If Flyers are trading with the Oilers the only 2 players you want would be Kane or Leon. As far as Kane his status is the beef but as players him or Leon are the type. Getting and wanting big difference. Guys like Barrie a fuckin dime a dozen no big deal.
