This movie depicted Casteism, rich poor barrier, Widow remarriage, women sexual abuse. So many socio economic issues in a beautiful way today's movie don't stand near it.

बेहतरीन और शानदार सिख देती यह फ़िल्म जो हमें हमारे समाज में चलते आ रहे अन्धविश्वास और दकियानुसी बातों से अवगत कराते हुए और सच्चाई दिखाते हुए। वैसे अब ये सारी चीज़ें कई हद तक खत्म हो गयीं है। काफी वक़्त से इस फ़िल्म को देखने की सोच रहा था। आज कहीं जाकर देख पाया। 2024 में कौन कौन देख रहें / रहीं है।

पद्मीनी कोल्हापुरी की पहली फिल्म है ये, और खास बात यह है कि इस फिल्म को बनाया उस टाइम इसकी उम्र 17 साल थी। इसी फिल्म से अच्छी खासी कामयाबी की शुरुआत हो गई थी।
