Blizzard came out with what I think is the absolute best fictional depiction of an angel in any book, movie, game, or picture. Fascinating idea, with the "tentacle wings", so to speak. Love it.

Tyrael is one of the best angel concept that i ever seen. His wings of light are perfect!

I love the way the music changes as Tyrael makes his appearance: that music and his voice give, for some seconds, the sensation that the Evil stands no chance to the Good.

This is the best Blizzard cinematic sequence of all time. Rather than just a rendering of an landmark event (like other blizzard cinematics -which are all wonderful), this one gives the drama and a progress in the storyline.

I love how the Demons and the Light actually fights for the humans aid. They both are trying to desperately to get the Nephalem to fight for them. Tyrael was the deciding vote out of 5 to make sure the Sanctuary withstood.

To Humans yes. But to demons and angels Tyrael is a meddler that nearly costs the mortal realm. Undoubtably Blizzard's idea of an angel is quite unique and very cool looking. Doubtful to be the first, Unpopular animes have a habit of being other animations to the punch but never get recognized.
