A viewing recommendation! There's a guy in our hobby community who refurbishes crusty old industrial-grade laboratory equipment for use on the painting desk. I bought a Typhoon vortex mixer more than 5 years ago, and it's been a TANK ever since. I like laboratory equipment, and I love seeing "trash" get brand new life. Recently, I told Robert that he should make a video about his process, and here it is!!! Overall I think this is just a cool example of the kind of folks who are part of our hobby :-)

Here's a tip for the color thing. I do this when recanting my contrast paints, and I plan to do it with these when I get them.

Hey All! At the time of this posting we're still several weeks out from the release of these paint sets. Here's some food for thought though, in case your local store is doing preorders or whatnot :-)

So glad to see a more complete review on these. Other content creators discussing the Speed paints have had smaller samples sent to them and I was afraid that said samples might not have been accurately representative of the whole range much in the way Contrast paint it's self can be wildly inconsistent. Thanks Brent, your hard work is appreciated as always.

The Sand Golem with a silver Undercoat looks soooo nice, I think a store around here is ordering a new batch of these soon, might go out and snatch up a couple of these.

Now these are the paints for me. While I love to sit and paint I just don’t have the time it takes to properly paint a couple minis let alone an entire army. I’ve been meaning to give contrast paints a try but I might just have to go with these instead!
